The Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort hotel was previously known as: Ban Ao Nang Resort or Anyavee Ban Ao Nang Resort.
Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort is not a luxury resort but a upper-mid standard hotel.
Ban Ao Nang Resort is nestled in the hillside overlooking Ao Nang beach and the sea.
The hotel is close to the bars, shops, restaurants, sightseeing agency, massage, laundry service are all just outside the hotel.
Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort's location
Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort is only 150 metres from Ao nang beach and close to all the shops. You just had to turn right and walked for about 2 minutes to the hawker stalls to get the delicious pancakes, padthai , baguettes and mango shake.
If you want to go island hopping to nearby beaches, longtail boats pier are located just 300 meters away from the beach.

There are also two in-house restaurants. Andaman Restaurant serves Thai and international dishes and Thai-BBQ at the Terrace Restaurant.

Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort room are spacious and has comfortable beds. No complaints as the rooms are kept clean and tidy everyday. You can see that the room is swept and mop everyday by their staff.

The shower in the room is quite powerful and you have to to switch the shower off to let some water drain away to avoid flooding the room. After a while, water is leaking all over making the floor very slippery and the toilet wet.

Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort Service Standard
Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort staff speak little English. Reception staff are helpful but certainly not up to the 'friendly' standard normally found in Thailand.
It can be seen quite clearly that the staff were quite disinterested in the guests and not making much effort in making guests feel welcome and comfortable.
One good thing is that they are prompt in their service, they are at your doorstep in five minutes prior to our requests.

Is Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort Value for Money?
Overall, Price/facilities are reasonable given the spacious room and big swimming pool. The classy reception, bedroom and public areas are very well kept and the gardens are well maintained.
Would definitely recommend for mid-budget traveller as its value for money.
