The hotel is in a very convenient position for shops and restaurants. You can get everything you need within walking distance.
What so unique about Krabi Heritage Hotel?
Heritage Hotel is a good base for doing tours of Krabi and islands hopping trips. The hotel is set back off the main road so there is very little noise in night time.
The views from the balcony at the rear of the hotel are amazing, overlooking the sea and islands in the distance.

Most of the guestrooms at the Krabi Heritage Hotel overlook the swimming pool which is rather small. It is refreshing to swim in the pool after a long day trip out in the sea.
The pool area is not overcrowded and perfect for a relaxing suntan. There are also plenty of sunbeds available.

Do not expect exceptional poolside service and be careful if you are bringing your children to the pool.
The pool is too deep for non swimmers and transition between shallow and deep end is too steep.

Sea bass International Food Thai and European Cuisine is located at the lobby level, featuring a large variety of menu items ranging from the traditional Thai and International cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

While the atmosphere is casual, there is no need to eat at Krabi Heritage Hotel restaurant except for your breakfast. You will be spoilt for choice as there are plenty good restaurants and bars outside Krabi Heritage Hotel.
Sea bass Coffee Shop is a great place to relax and have a wholesome meal.

Krabi Heritage Hotel offers 78 fully air-conditioned superior rooms with private balconies.
The rooms are very clean and bright with spotless bathrooms. There is ample space in the wardrobe to put your luggage.
Basic room facilities include aircon, tv with english channels, separate bath and shower.
Linen and towels are changed daily. Room is mid-sized, clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. A good room to sleep and keep your bags!

Tips:
Try to ask for rooms at 4th or 5th floor which are round the back of the hotel. You can have amazing views that look over the ocean.

Krabi Heritage Hotel can be considered a great hotel offering low prices in one of the best spots in Ao Nang.
It is basic but adequate to meet your needs and value for money.

Krabi Heritage Hotel Activities
Ao nang is a place for making day trips to the islands, you should try some of these activities listed below. Longtail boat trips are available at really cheap prices. You can rent the longtail boat for the whole day at 1700 baht.
Rai Leh West is a 10 minutes longtail ride (for around 150 bahts each depending on the season), Ko Poda is half hour away which has a perfect beach, with soft white sand, palms and very little else. And plenty of other beautiful beaches/islands to choose.
Hong islands tour

Phi Phi Islands
Phi Phi island tour at the hotel desk was quoted 1800 baht. If you do some comparison shopping outside in the main street, you can get the same trip for 950 baht.
