Tipa Resort is nestled on the hillside with landscaped gardens all on 16 acres of land.
Location of Tipa Resort is perfect as it is close to the heart of Ao Nang Beach, but relatively secluded so that there is almost no traffic noise. You can feel relaxed with its tranquil and natural surroundings.
The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach and close to bars,restaurants.

it is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle, but yet within a few minutes of walking distance to Ao Nang beach. Just right outside the hotel are some places to eat, book tours and rent motorbikes.

Tipa Resort pool area is well equipped with shaded sun loungers although it is rather small but it is good enough as the beach is so close to Tipa Resort.

Tipa Resort offer a total of 87 guestrooms, 21 Bungalow 54 Superior rooms and 12 deluxe rooms. The deluxe rooms are two storeys high which are near to the swimming pool.
Every room in Tipa resort has a modern style contemporary furnishings including a large balcony which is perfect for relaxing. Only deluxe rooms provide bathroom with bathtubs.
From the reception area it is about a five minute walk up a hill to the bungalow, so those lacking in fitness or with walking difficulties please beware. They do provide a little electric golf buggy unit to give you a lift.
The 21 "Baanmai" bungalows are situated away on the hillside with large balcony and natural greenery. Tipa Resort rooms are spacious and clean to a high standard every day.

The Tipa Resort "Baanmai" bungalows are constructed with natural wood to give you a back to nature feeling. They have nice and large porches where you can sit and enjoy the surrounding of lush greenery.
In the evening, you will be surrounded by the noise of crickets and frogs. It's very private as each bungalow are separated from each other.

Biggest gripe:
- some hotel bathrooms were slightly flooded if long shower was taken
- The uphill walk to some of the bungalows can be quite exhausting

- the hotel is located right on the beach in the middle of Ao Nang beach
- the location was just fantastic, close to everything
- noise from the street is rarely reaching
Special tips:
- best spot to stay would be deluxe room overlooking pool
- try to choose one of the bungalow nearest to the lobby, easy access to the swimming pool and a garden setting around the bungalow
- you can get a lift from a electric golf buggy to send you up
Recommended for:
it will be the best place for the travellers who want tranquility and peaceful relaxation. Budget price is another virtue as Tipa Resort is excellent value for money. Also great for family with children.

For those who do not like walking up hills and elderly folks
