We swam, snorkeled, sun tanned in the perfect krabi beaches, kayaking deep into the canyons...remote islands that time forgot.

Krabi is a southern province in Thailand that covers more than 130 islands in the Andaman Sea.

Where is Krabi located?

Krabi is located on the Andaman Sea coast of south-west Thailand. Krabi is divided into eight districts : Amphoe Muang (Krabi Town), Khao Panom, Khlong Thom, Plai Phraya, Ko Lanta, Ao Luk, Lam Thap and Nhua Khlong.

Krabi climate and weather condition

Krabi has a tropical monsoon climate. There are only two seasons in Krabi, the hot season which is also the peak season range from January to April. This is the season where you can expect of beautiful sunshine and clear blue sky.

The rainy season from May to December has continuous rain where the winds are strong and choppy rough sea. Most of the time ferries and longtail boats will not run and swimming is also dangerous.

Temperature in Krabi range between 16 to 37 degrees Celsius and the yearly rainfall averages 2,568.5 millimeters.

Best time to visit Krabi?

Peak season: December - April

Although Rainy season(Off peak): May - November , you can get great bargains for hotel room rates in early May to October and hope for the best. Sometimes if you are lucky, you get one or two days of rain with sunshine in between.
