Phra nang beach guide
Phra Nang Beach (Phra Nang Peninsula)
Phra Nang beach is part of a small peninsula located between the city of Krabi and Ao Nang beach.
Phra nang beach is also beside Railay beach which is accessible only by boat due to the high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access.
The three main areas of Railay consist of West Railay, East Railay and Tonsai.
Phra nang beach and Railay beach is renowned for its beautiful beaches and quiet relaxing atmosphere.

Highly recommended activity:
Open up your beach mat, take a book, apply sun tanning lotion and lie back and soak in the warm sunshine, smell the salty sea breeze and feel the soft fine sand.
Or if you are adventurous it is possible to hike to the top of the headland to get spectacular views of the entire area.

There is shrine built inside the limestone cave which is dedicated to an ancient fertility goddess.
Inside the limestone cave is a collection of strange phallic symbols, offerings and objects believed to help with fertility.

Explore Phra nang beach
It was fortunate that when we reached Phra nang beach, it was low tide. There is a small channel that is visible only during low tide, and you can trek over to the other side of Phra nang beach. We went to explore the end of Phra Nang beach.
The small narrow channel is surrounded by fallen rocks. The formation of rocks and huge caves are caused by years of waves eroding on the limestone cliffs. You can also see water dripping from the ceiling of the caves.
Look at how huge the cave is! It was a bit dark inside and rather spooky. We hurried along and move towards the light at the end of the cave.
Finally we came out on the other side of the cave.
The scenery was breath taking!
As we head back to mainland, we were mesmerized by Phra nang beach beauty.
